The dippy egg isn’t just breakfast, it’s history, comfort, and a bit of a ritual. From Roman recipes to post-war Britain, ‘The Dippy Egg Zine’ traces how a simple soft-boiled egg became something more. It explores the nostalgia wrapped up in dipping toast soldiers, the memories it stirs, and whether the dippy egg is its own thing or just a soft-boiled egg in disguise.
